New Albany Youth Cheerleading
New Albany Youth Cheer is open to anyone in grades K-6. Cheerleaders attend a three-day
cheer camp instructed by the NAHS Cheerleaders to learn cheers, chants, and dances
for the season. Youth cheer practices are every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30pm
during the fall season. Cheerleaders are divided by grade. K-4th Graders cheer at Flag Football games on
Sunday afternoons and 5th-6th Graders cheer games Tackle Football games either on Saturday or Sundays depending on the schedule.
Cheerleaders will participate in the July 4th parade, Homecoming parade and Youth Night at the
high school football game.

How to Register for the 2022 Season

Cost: $125 + Uniform Fees
After July 16th, all participants will be waitlisted and charged a $25 late fee.
Add $50 the registration fee to players living outside the New Albany-Plain Local School District.

About Cheer:
- Grades 5th-6th Grade cheer for the Tackle league and Grades K-4th cheer for the Flag Football League
- Cheer fees include: Cheer Camp, pom poms, cheer bow and t-shirt.
- Uniform Fitting Dates: TBD at Bevelhymer's Green Zone concession stand area. We will be wearing the same uniforms as last year, so if everything fits then you are all set. Please have your cheerleader try items on at the fitting date.
- Uniform includes shell, skirt, midriff and brief. More information to follow.
